i REALLY wish that dietryin was only trolling us here but i dont think so sadly enough.

reading the arguments from the start to the end, what did stand out was this.

dietryin really remind me of a friend of mine, he gets this idea that is not entirely correct and he sticks to it no matter what, no matter what evidence there are contrrary to his belife on the matter. matters to him.
it can be spelling of a word and even if you put his nose down a dictionary he will simply claim they are wrong, you can show him on the internet and he will say that it is also wrong, you could call a proffessor on the matter and ask his opinion on it, and my friend will still claim him to be wrong it doesnt matter what evidence you give, in his mind he is right and thus cannot be wrong. because to his belife the world circles around him and not him with the world.

and to be honest he is mostly wrong, he reads some article about something usually from some idiot internet site, and belives it is so, whatever he belives first is the truth and nothing can convincie him of anything else. he is 100% sure that humans did not land on the moon, he is also 100% certain that the governemnt and oil companys has a functioning petrol car that only uses 1% of the fual a normal car does, he also belives in black magic and aliens.

discussing anything with him is like trying to convince a brick wall to be a pile of gems instead, sure you will spend some time but at the end you will not have accomplished a whole lot.

Give AIDS to congress, cure found in days

There is at least one guy that I know of that was cured of AIDS by a UK research group. I forget the exact details, but there are humans that have a natural resistance to HIV (if infected with HIV, it NEVER becomes AIDS) and I think they did some sort of stem cell swap while trying to treat a man's diabetes and accidentally cured his AIDS instead.

But that's not how research works. Very rich people are already affected by AIDS and are pouring money into research, and there still is not a cure.

Actually current research has been showing that boosting the immune system through other methods (such as nutritional therapies) can do a marvelous job of at least supressing HIV if not actually reversing it.

I had some of the details wrong (he was a guy living in Germany and was being treated for Leukemia and not Diabetes), but you don't need to laugh in the face of scientific facts. But don't get me wrong, I'm not the least bit surprised that you don't believe truth when you see it. After all, you have faith that words essays found on websites that look like they were created on Geocities in the early 90's are trustable without any need for peer review.


HIV and AIDS treatments have gotten much, much better than they were two decades ago (and you're right, diet does play a big part of that because the immune system is heavily influenced by what we eat), but we want cures rather than
