I couldn't imagine a meal without some sort of meat. I grew up on a farm and still own a family farm, going out back and slaughtering some animals was a monthly routine for me on top of hunting. I don't know how you can get by as a vegetarian without either being underweight or weak. To each their own though.

Yesterday's lunch:

It was delicious by the way.

ive been a vegetarian for 18 years now

And im that for the exact same reasons as described in this post
so thanks for posting it ;)

imo humans dont need to kill animals for there food, since there are great alternatives

but well, imo, any1 is free to choose there own diet, if u wanna eat meat, im fine with it, not my problem :)

It may a great idea to get in contact with a state representative to demand more organic food stores.

There was an incident not too long ago where police raided an organic food store with guns drawn.
What kind of nonsense is that?

People shouldn't have to read a thread to know that humans are omnivores. That's like 1st grade shit.

Back in my day, the sale of organic products was done at the discretion of a store owner and it was generally frowned upon when the government propped up an industry that wouldn't exist on it's own in the market.

Also, personal choice, I want to consume meat. I like to do so so much that I would sacrifice a few measly years of being elderly and incontinent, I'm sure they would be lousy anyway. Whats the point of life if you cannot engage in the things you enjoy doing. The goal is not to live as long as possible, so converting to a diet without meat seems unpleasant and not worth the effort.

Also, when vegetarians look down on people who eat meat I get irritated. The select few of you need to quit acting as if you were superior.

Would you like it if someone bred you and then slaughtered you for the meat you had in your body?
