That's part of the proof presented in biology classes at least up to ten years ago. The majority of the professors at the time chastised students for not believing in the "picture". I'm not sure if I even like herring.

Creation and evolution science both seem about one step removed from a cult to me. You don't have to try to prove either is wrong to me.

Don't know what biology class your talking about, but it clearly wasn't an advanced course on evolution at a major university.

Evolution is not a cult. It's just a theory. It's a widely accepted theory because its been proven to be correct many times. If evidence arose disproving evolution, it would go out the window similar to the geocentric model of the Earth.

It was not over the 200 level but I guess that is part of the point, should I need a PHD in a subject before someone teaches me the basics correctly?

Eh, get a few angry people together and give them a megaphone and some poison kool-aid and it doesn't really matter what their talking about.

I agree, it is just a theory. I actually though it was a good once and may again someday.

Man your science classes failed if you don't know the difference between scientific theory and common nomenclature theory.

Fossils do not prove anything except that the thing was once alive and all that remains are bones.

This is like linking apples to oranges just because they have seeds.

And apples don't turn into oranges no matter how long it takes

Pretty much my point. If you really want to teach me something, don't berate me while you are doing it. Anger is a poor teacher.

If you feel I meant some malice towards you, I assure you I didn't and wish you well.

There is a difference between the theory and the "zealots" that I seem to keep running into, that want me to know something about it.

I did not have many classes in Biology but have paid attention to any information I have come across in the past few decades, if the person presenting the material seems knowledgeable and respectful.

My degree is in Chemistry/Physics so if you really want to further this conversation with me, shoot me a PM and I will try to relate some ideas starting from there I have.

Over all, if evolution is somehow found to be a scientific law, it still would not contradict the Bible's statements that God did it or prove that there is no difference between man and other animals.

You may bust up some man made religion that comes in the "name of God!" but has nothing to do with Him. If you do accomplish that, you would be doing Him a favor.
 x 10 ^

Yet, if we somehow managed to recreate life as in the same conditions as in the Cambrium age, we will at least prove that Evolution is a theory superior to the creationists, seeing as they so far have zero scientifical proof. Of course, the Intelligent Design will stay alive, but we will then have proven that there is no need for a God to create life.

(no, Urey-Miller did not already make life, they simply tried to recreate amino-acids. They succeeded, but making long strains of aminoacids in the exact order to form things like collagen or even DNA, there is one component of the experiment which we lack: time)

And there is no need for God to be happy or live a fulfilling life, so God seems ever more useless.

most athiest that try to bash creationist are ignorant by not know what theyre talking about at all most creationists belive that evolution happened but god was the driving force, that being said with your idiocracy u probably belive that most creationists belive that the earth was created in 7 days. as most creationists know(and most partially intelligent people)that the bible is mostly symbolic the numbers and symbols all mean for something else.

get educated before you try to bash a whole religion brah

btw the "missing link" was a lemur like creature with opposable thumbs just another failed attempt by atheists to find this missing link
