Here's a video of two cars crashing into each other and you can clearly see the one car becomes airborne for a fraction of a second.

The picture you are referring to (the second one) is of two forklifts. They are vehicles that are used to lift heavy things, typically in warehouses and the like. You can google "forklift" to read more about them. And by "read" I mean "look at some youtube videos" of course, don't be alarmed.
The image shows two forklifts lifting each other off the ground. Not smashing into each, but just driving up, stopping, and lifting.

No, I don't draw these. Google "troll physics" and prepare to have your tiny mind blown. The balloon video you posted is basically this, it's roughly equivalent to the car with two magnets pulling itself forward. When the car doesn't move the author claims that magnets don't attract, since if they did the car would be driving forward.
