No, the entire mass of the atmosphere moves at 1000 mph, the same as the surface, meaning no discernible wind speed at all. Prevailing winds means something else, but why would you know?

So the entire mass of the air is moving at 1000 mph in the exact same direction as the spin so it has exact synchronicity with our spinning earth? Um ok.

So if its moving at 1000 mph in a direction - why doesn't an Airplane travelling through that air and away from the surface of earth so as to be affected by "Coriolis effect" need to resist that air when traveling in a direct not congruent with the direction of spin? Our Airplanes not affected by Coriolis or need to resist the magic force of the wind that moves at 1000 mph?

Well if bullets and kicked footballs are affected by Coriolis - why aren't airplanes? And if the air is moving at 1000 mph to the east , why dont airplanes going to the west through that air moving to the east have to resist it?

You can't claim that the air is relative because Earth is a completely open environment according to Nasa as we went to the moon and sent lots of satellites into space - wtf are you suggesting, that their is some kind of ceiling that would make the earth a closed environment?

Unfortunately you just don't have the capacity to understand for whatever reason. I can assure you, however, that most people intuitively understand why airplanes don't have to fight any kind of 1000 mph winds. It makes total sense to the rest of us, we don't even have to think that hard to visualize it and agree that it's correct. But something in your brain can't make the connection, so you think we are all blind to this problem that seems obvious to you. In reality there is no problem, it works just like it should work.
