The em radiation density in space below the Van Allen belt alone is enough to cause live film concerns, in the Van Allen belt it much higher and in the plasmasphere it's even higher, this is why Nasa or any space agency has never sent a man above 400 miles since 1972 - that Nasa claims they did it 6x in 1969-1972 is pretty incredulous.
