exactly - if the Horizon was due to the curve of the earth - the horizon would be curved - what we see is due to perspective on a flat plane.

Nasa has never sent a Man past 400 miles up since 1972, supposedly the Van Allen belt is whats stopping them, there is no way they brought live film through that EM belt in 1969-1972 in a tin can.

What's the radiation density in the van allen belt, and how big of a spot would we expect any individual radiation event on film to cause?

It would cause more that a spot - most of the negative film should have suffered from severe fogging

The em radiation density in space below the Van Allen belt alone is enough to cause live film concerns, in the Van Allen belt it much higher and in the plasmasphere it's even higher, this is why Nasa or any space agency has never sent a man above 400 miles since 1972 - that Nasa claims they did it 6x in 1969-1972 is pretty incredulous.

Astronots didn't even know what the Van Allen belt was - I mean really?
