You're missing the point. Unless you achieve actual greatness to the point where a historian delves in great depth into your life, personality, and motivations, all you will ever be remembered as is a name and list of facts. YOU will not be remembered. Tiny portions of who you were and what you did may be, but YOU won't be.

Makes life seem kind of pointless, doesn't it?

nope. anyone who thinks the point of life is to be remembered forever is stupid.

what makes life seem pointless is seeing people spend 3/4 of their life working jobs you wouldn't even care enough about to hear a 30 second explanation of.

No I mean really, think about it.

What is the point of life. What is the point of this entire universe?

Why does existence exist? Even if something evolves to reach a maximum point, what is the ultimate end?

Like why is it even happening.

Whats the goal of life?

how can you see the point when you can't see the edge?

unnatural questions will never have a definitive answer.

another unanswerable unnatural question.

this is the problem with evolving how we did. we now have the extra brain power to waste our time thinking about the unanswerable and it has snowballed into religions and other mysticism.
