ehh thankss but i kinda lose interest fast  as black widow said here, im not really interested in learning (at least not things that are counterintuitive to me), i kinda just wanted someone to solve my question

im ashamed to say it but thats the truth

You have control over your own brain. If you aren't interested get interested. Your life will go much better with a learning mindset

i mean im not saying thats bad advice, people should be curious and learn their entire lives

but modern physics is a specific thing i dont like as i prefer understanding stuff intuitively (which is why i prefer things like psychology or anthropology for example). if i cant do that, i dont really have interest to try  for example the question i asked was a fun one (i hope at least), but not worth the trade in my book

You don't need to understand the math to understand the concept. You know about gravity without knowing the math behind the engine.

exactly, gravity is intuitive because we evolved under the conditions that apply it, but relativity and quantum stuffs arent  which is why i hate them

We also evolved under relatively and quantum mechanics :)

well yeeah the laws were still there, but they didnt really apply  for example if you hold a cat above water, it will protest because it knows damn well what will happen if you drop it  it knows because it and/or its ancestors (instinctive reactions, based on generations long evolutionary pressure) evolved in conditions that had direct and visible contact with the laws of gravity. intuition is just that, a learned response to something you or your ancestors have had experience with  relativity applies at extreme speeds or masses or temperatures and nothing on this planet has even come into contact with those, same with quantum on the other end

so this has been bugging me since i was a kid

basically, everything travels 300 000km/h through both space and time at once. if we travel faster through space, we travel slower through time, meaning time passes faster for the observer

so imagine this scenario. you are in a ship that can travel at light speed if it wants to, and you need to reach something thats exactly 1 light year away. so from your perspective, it will obviously be the best to travel at max speed and get there in a year

but! imagine theres a device at the end of your trip that loses fuel as time passes. you need to get to it as fast as you can. so if you go too slow, the device will lose fuel before you get there, but if you go to fast, you will travel through time much more than space and from the perspective of that device, too much time will have passed even though it took you 1 year, yes  ? so is there some sweet spot speed you should go at, or just the faster the better?

its okay if you dont understand the question, neither do i  but i need some input

edit:

i mean if space and time are simply 1:1 on that total speed thing, then i guess the best possible speed would be 300000km/h divided by square root of 2, but i assume its not that simple now is it  ?

Its 300000 km per second dude....not per hour
