So every science that doesnt attempt to solve hunger is not worthy? Come on dude..

Its not about hunger in particular. I just give it as the simplest example...

U can do research on something that doesnt directly relate to hunger but still makes positive impact on environment, wild life and human well being.

this research is just pointless. What next? They ll sttart attempting to translate dolphins' more complex conversations? based on what? Physical behaviour alone?

Yeah

Really? How about you get rich and feed them then or stfu

U dont have to be rich to feed them. In some parts of the world, whole families live with $1 a day.

U r too stupid to know whats needed to fix such problem in the long run.

How an idiot such as urself managed to click on the science section is a whole different mystery.

Then send every cent you earn except 30$ a month to Africa so they can eat

Stop telling other people to make a difference when youre not willing to step up and be the first

If you're not giving every cent you can spare

You're not giving enough and are still selfish

Next time you're going to buy new shoes think of how many Ethiopians you could feed if you just went barefoot

You're just mad I've shown you just how charitable you are compared to how charitable you think you are

ok, i guess i need to explain my point with more words so that u can understand it ;p

instead of funding research like this one, which doesnt benefit the environment/wild life/human life, it would be much more beneficial to fund research that focuses on those 3 areas.

and for such close minded ppl like urself, i should also point out again that it doesnt necessarily need to be a research that is directly related to those areas in order for it to impact them positively in the future.

software development is the easiest example.

my point has nothing to do with donating to charities and if u do a rough estimation of the amount of money that is donated versus the amount of impact those donations make towards their cause u will quickly realize that global charities r a huge scam that relies on exploiting one of the most basic human traits called compassion.

i dont expect u to fully understand the meaning of that last sentence since its only 1 sentence and apparently u need a step by step explanation to be able to understand what someone is trying to tell u however, give it a try.

I know charities are a scam lol they give like 5 cents per dollar to their charity, the rest goes to operational costs which include salaries

But you're not a charity. You can give 100% of your profits to people in need or to fund research projects, but you don't do that because you put yourself above others and then turn around and assume I'm the one without compassion for my fellow human

i already said that i dont care for ur opinion or what u do with ur life/money ;p i didnt post here to get a reaction out of someone like u, u just got triggered by my post as if u were 1 of the scientists involved with that research and if that were the case i'd congratulate u on achieving absolutely nothing with the funds that u've been given, very productive indeed!

u seem to go round and round with the idea of me personally donating for research, which has nothing to do with the point that im trying to make. just because i dont fund a research doesnt mean that a research that is funded by someone else is productive and anyone that doesnt fund it is not allowed to criticize it's outcome.

the funds that researchers normally get r very substantial and r normally provided by either private businesses or educational establishments, not random ppl that want to help make the world a better place. charities got that covered pretty well.

if u still dont understand what im trying to say then tough... cos im not planning on replaying to ur posts any further
