The bulging of the cosmic ballet!?! Sounds more like proof that astro priests are all likely homosexuals. All though many consider that simply true, the actual evidence shows that the tidal patterns throughout the world in the oceans simply do not even remotely follow the lunar cycle and if it was reality lunar gravity that made the tides - why is it that water in lakes is almost immeasurable affected, and why aren't the tides bigger when we are closer to the sun? i'd have to put this theory in the category of "well, we dont have any evidence to actually speak of , but if we dance around the subject really pretty, you ll think we know what we are talking about." Apparently, this technique works on some people, interesting.

compasses work the same whether the wold is a ball or just round, so to get to russia it just depends on where you are, i think your concept of east and west are just more rigidly defined in your mind because of the square nature of of the Mercator Map projection.
