ever tangled with shit a DA at the local level? trust me it's a shit show. the judges are burnt out on petty bullshit and phone it in all the damned time as well.

i mean seriously ask anyone if you should dress up nice when you go to court and they will tell you "duh", but lets thing about how absurd it is that your cosmetic appearance even crosses the damned judges mind when its a legal matter not a fashion show.

shit like this is exactly why you hear minorities saying how much they hate the legal system because it tend to fail at remaining non-bias like a real legal system should be.

thats the point. once you lose the respect and faith in the legal system due to its huge flaws you very little reason to see it as anything more than a hassle not something worth following.

do you do everything by the book everyday of your life? of course not because without a cop being right beside us it's hard to give a shit about something so arbitrary.

last court appearance i had was over $20 seat belt ticket when i had seriously only been on the road without a seatbelt on for 10 seconds because i had to reach something in my back floor(prom dress fell and i didn't want to cause it to have wrinks or dirt) and officer gave zero fucks about my "Excuse".

cops no longer follow reason they follow their egos and their quotas and because of that i ended up with $700 in court fees i had to go beg to get dismissed because i forgot a damn ticket that was only $20 to begin with.

know who made the difference in me getting a fair shake in court? not the fuckin judge but the court clerk who actually used her brain to do her job. had she not taken time out of her day to talk to me before the hearing i'd of probably ended up with a $720 fine to pay.

worst part was the judge gave zero fucks so he simply chose not to even engage her and tossed it out without even a discussion because she did his job for him because if she doesn't she knows he is an absolute asshole to regular people who didn't spend money on a suit for their 5 minute court hearings.

system is quickly turning into a source of revenue rather than a source of justice.

Next time hit Ebay or one of the many sites selling used phones. At least that way you have electronic documentation.

You could pay a technician for an unlocked board but it will be expensive and a third party board.
Or you could pay at the genius bar for an out of warranty repair.

i was (bored) reading the usage terms of iphone recently

i came across that if the phone is sold legitmatlly (via bill of sale or other apple documentation then ALL hardware and software (including everything saved) as well as remaining warrenty etc. is transferred to the new owner, if u can prove this to apple they will happily unlock it

however if you just paid cash then you are probably out of luck and the previous owner planned this, the only other option then is to jailbreak then hacktivate the device, furthermore many carriers will blacklist this (for obvious reasons) but you may still be able to unlock the phone for tower use
