Not with the current imaging technology, but its existence and properties are inferred from its various gravitational effects (or other kind of phenomenons, like the motions of visible matter). So soon it could be

When you read about dark matter, do you think, "Yea, that totally sounds right," or, "That's crazy, of course that's not true?"

imo it's a credible assumption within the bounds of our current knowledge
don't really like the 'believe' in the topic title because that word has religious overtones
science is always testing the boundaries and it sometimes takes a lot of time and effort to 'prove' something within the available reference system

You guys speak to debunk a theory with no empirical evidence or logical points; a theory that was founded on such

I know it started as a "fudge factor" to account for higher gravity over large distances. I think it's going to go out of fashion eventually.

I think it will just turn out to be some large mass particle. Maybe the LSP or something else. But yeah it is the edge of the discover business, won't know until some progress is made.

Black holes and dark matter are two different things. Until proven otherwise. Why space continuous to expand? Dark matter is just a theory...

Well according to mathematics and physics scholars, there is substantial theoretical proof for the existence of dark matter.

What ever parts exist in Dark Matter we group together under "cannot be understood but we know it is out there".....

what else is around 10% ? We use around 10% of our brains... Maybe there is a connection that allows us to only understand 10% of our universe ?
