Any effect would be minimal or else it would be the industry standard for premium, and it isn't. If you miss a change by a lot or run low on oil for a while it would likely have a much greater effect than using this oil vs. conventional. my suggestion would be to look into additives for your fuel systems if you're concerned rather than a new fancy type of oil.

When it comes to cars i generally stand by one thing, if the product is new enough that it's not industry standard i wont try it, im no beta tester especially with something as expensive as my car. The number of snake oil products ive seen at trade shows is insane, from newly shaped air filters that are supposed to give you 5 mpg better to fancy spray bottles of products that supposedly clean your car off of ice. Nothing worth the money IMO.

disclaimer: not a mechanic nor do i have any insight into this specific product that you don't, just my general advice on new car products.

I shouldn't help you because no one here is worth my time and knowledge, but because you made a thread in the wrong forum I think you are genuine and i like genuine people so I'll tell you.

If your car is 10 years or older or has 200k miles or more, then its OK to use that oil IF you don't live on an extremely cold place.

If its younger or has less than 200k miles or you live in a cold place then do NOT use that oil.

If you use that oil with one of the above conditions, it will drastically reduce your engine life time.

I will not explain why, do whatever you want from this point on.

What knowledge
