what millions are wasted? Sure the initial investment of the brothers is big but they'll make more from the tv show then they spend. The constant lines of "were spending all of our money on this" are just as baseless as the American Picker's crew stating things like "we need to run a business". THose guys havent actually been focused on profit for years, they want to find old barns with cool stuff cuz that's what the viewers want. COOI is no different, they want the viewers to think there is everything on the line because it's exciting, while history is footing the bill.

Oak Island has been a curiousity of mine for a lone time, the biggest problem is most of the serious excavations took place decades ago, or even centuries ago.

I know they likely wont "solve" the mystery, but this large scale of an operation is bound to turn up more clues than previous excavations.

Anyone else excited for the return of the show for S3?


My girlfriends dad is gonna be in this season, he is one of the guys in the driller company :P
