'The amount of water used in fracking constitutes about .0004 of a percent of the water used in the state; the same amount used by 500 households or single golf course over a year.'
Did you hear that sound?
.. its just another fracking superstition biting the dust.

not sure about the percentage you quoted - link?

but hydraulic fracking uses a lot of water (over 2 million gallons for a single attempt)

say that to a farmer getting 0% water.. And you believe those numbers? Same people who worked for cigarette companies telling you they safe.. Same people controlling the water, also drilling and fraqing... They keep count of the water they use and give us any number that sounds good lol... Sure they went after the water first..one little drought would not drain the wells, like they drained now...

Farmers % of water use is going down ..is that so called .004 % affected at all? I don't think so

Not everything is a big conspiracy by the evil dragon overlords.
You try to blame convenient targets for the worlds problems even when there is no merit to the accusations.
Blaming the severity of the drought in California on fracking is far beyond anything conducive with reality.

How much water do you think they could possibly have used for fracking?

Agriculture and golf courses. In the case of agriculture it's inside the animals and plants and gets exported out of the state. In the case of gold courses... in the grass and ponds. The rest just goes into a black hole.

"bad guys" being in charge is not proof of your mythical claims. Thats a non sequitur.
You don't have to believe they are good guys or personally watch fracking to become educated, rationally look at a situation and assess the evidence to determine whether its even remotely possible that fracking might use a fantastically higher percentage of the water in California.

You remain exceptionally ignorant on the subject and want to proclaim that the fracking evil-doers are to blame for the worlds problems with no evidence presented to back up your claim whatsoever.
Just superstition and a hatred of what they are doing.

Since im not sure if you know about doomchaser or not.........

It's best you don't get locked into a conversation with him if you aren't a conspiracy theory nutjob that prefers wild speculation over evidence.

Not sure why all this debate is going on...

I clearly posted very factual events as to why Cali is where it is now.
I dont know much about fracking or that theres alot of it in Cali. Although I agree, logically, they'd be using alot of water. Not sure if this is the major reason or one of the only reasons of drought.
I also, agree that those companies are valued in the Billions, and they do lie. It's naive to think they do not.

Defending ppl who make billions and lie about it, coming from you cambovenzi... well all I can say; I have you listed as a scammer in Ladder Slasher. Wont mean much to ppl here, but it does to me ;)

The world does not revolve around you. There was a difference in opinion between other posters and they saw fit to engage in debate.
A great mystery, I know.

As it turns out you've decided to engage in that debate and agree with the conspiracy theorist that fracking is a significant additional reason for the drought severity.

The fact that people sometimes lie is not reason to believe fracking is a major player in the drought, nor is it reason to believe there is a successful mass conspiracy pulling the wool over everyone's eyes about how much water is used.

The "alot" of water they use is incredibly insignificant when looking at the bigger picture, as I've already shown.
California uses predominantly vertical wells that use less water than typical fracking wells.
To amount to even 1% of the total water use in California last year, their water usage would have to be literally about 2500 times MORE than what is believed to be true.

"Logically" it would make sense to look at the facts and consider both sides of the story before taking sides, but from the next part of your post its pretty obvious that that sort of logic eludes you.

That is really cute.
Are you in the habit of calling people scammers that have never scammed anyone? Or am I your boogeyman?

"Pride, Honor & Respect"
Yet you openly disrespect people who've never said or done anything bad to you before. Classy.

You've got issues, fellow.
Ofc the world doesn't revolve around me. We have a Sun, it's not me.

The opinion he brought up about fracking wasn't the defining reason to the drought, just another aspect of it.
I didn't say I'm join' the debate or agreeing with any of the stuff you both said. I said, idk much about fracking, no need to pull me into the "fracking/water%" debate. All I said is corporations with alot of $/power, lie and get away with it.
I guess after you 2 started this debate, whomever that posts has now joined in? Makes sense.

I'm in the habbit of following those 3 words.
Just cause it says, "Theres no scamming in LS" and you know you scammed, oh stole, BM'd someone, you hide behind the boogeyman aspect.
Everyone in the LS community knows about you.

You dissrespect and steal (stole) and now that I'm calling you out in another thread. I'm dissrespecting you? Oh why? Cause you never did anything to me personaly means I need to respect such a thief? Makes sense.
I'm a very forgiving person. And when this whole thing unravelled, you didn't even defend yourself or say sorry, nothing. You just left guild, went afk, etc.

So ya... I'm wrong, you're right.
You win, I lose.

Best of luck with your way of thinking :)
