OP is looking for a "nice tent" maybe with 2 rooms and you recommend an expensive, tiny, and awkward Marmot. I dont think should be recommending specialized backpacking tents to somebody that has little experience with camping and tents; you are sending them in the wrong direction. His brother is likely going to be camping at campgrounds - not on the side of a mountain he had to climb with all his gear on his back.


A blind retard could set up my Marmot tent in under 5 minutes. Specialized backpacking tent... pah! Okay, OP. Buy a shitty dome tent that leaks and has drafts and no footprint or rain fly. That's the way to go for under 200 dollars.

all you need to do is go to walmart or rei or something similarand just pick a tent for less than 200. its a tent it really doesnt matter
