the moon is exactly 1/400th of the size of the sun
and its orbit occurs at a distance of exactly 1/400th the distance between the earth and the sun.
(this causes total eclipses, a unique phenomenon as far as we know)

the earth is 3.66 times the size of the moon, and takes 366 days to orbit the sun
the moon takes 27.322 days to orbit the earth, which creates a very neat 10,000 days to complete 366 orbits

say you believe those things are just coincidences, that they're just a fluke

virtually every other planet/moon/sun relation that we know about is completely random

So why cant it just be a conincidence if EVERY OTHER RELATIONSHIP is random? Sometimes, when checking out at the grocery store, the bill is 20 dollars even. Does that mean I planned it?

it could be just a coincidence, thats why I was attempting to discuss a theory not preach the meaning of life
e: i know its not a subject of much interest to you, but if you read the book "Who Built the Moon?" it raises some interesting questions

It's probably difficult to understand how matter could collide and then become a bigger thing rather than break into smaller pieces
No it isn't, it's called gravity.

It is extremely cold in space, which means there is very difficult to gain kinetic energy

and when it is finally transferred it takes longer for it to transfer than it would normally take for matter on Earth that is already heated.

As you probably know, cold objects tend to stick regardless of the material.

Its not a theory. Its a hypothesis without any scientific backing. Sorry mate...

Unless you can provide a little more than a couple of spooky numbers, it aint gonna hold up.

Id rather not, but if that kind of stuff appeals to you... I actually dont read that much anymore. But when I do, its imgur.

the moon turns at a perfect 400kms per day
which is equal to exactly 1% of the speed of rotation of the Earth

awful lot of coincidences

You provide me a copy and I'll skim it and poop all over it for you, if you want...

because one does not say that something turns at kilometeres per second per day.
