if anything i'd say we have become more aware of our own stupidity. what intelligence we gained so far has raised far more unknowns than knows.

I read a few studies that actually suggest we're getting dumber, and that those in the Roman times were smarter than us in almost every aspect.

idk about that but, i think we may be moving twards more of a hive mind instead of ex 5 million people thinking alone, with twitter, facebook, and the internet we can share experiences almost instantly same with knowledge. so we can experience something almost at the same time someone else does and learn from it. i think thats really really cool.
