Also the sun doesnt shine from the same side every summer.. every year the summer gets sun from a different side (its always a little bit more to the right)

the earth and the sun are not tidally locked (the earth and the moon are). The sun completes a rotation about every 25 days, the earth in about a year.... so I don't see how this ^^^ could be correct.

What is not correct?

edit: if you are talking about this: "Also the sun doesnt shine from the same side every summer.. every year the summer gets sun from a different side (its always a little bit more to the right)" that was just the way I chose to put it up so then people could picture it easier. Im disregarding the suns own rotation, which doesnt matter anyway. It was just to better explain what I meant.

.. or what are you talking about?

ok let me get this strait:
you want to talk about what side of the sun is facing the earth, but you don't want to consider rotation?!?

No man, nevermind about the side of the sun then.. What I want people to understand is that the earths orbit rotates around the sun..
So the summer wont be in the same place as it was last year considering the suns position and the center of our galaxy for example as pinpoints.

I just said that about the sun so people could understand what happens imagining it.

But yea, see how you came up saying it was all wrong (didnt specify what was wrong exactly) telling me the suns own rotation takes 25 days, so what I said wasnt correct?
Be more specific next time please.

That's pretty cray. But we need to have a predictable time period now I say.

We do have, its 2013 :)

If you are referring to the time of the year then we also have it, winter is always during the same months.
