Thats why the believers say that dejavous are nothing but a system restore, which happens when something faulty occurs and could compromise our beliefs about whats real.

that doesn't sound like it's from a movie or anything

i'm guessing it's a quirk originating from the assumedly associative nature of human memory. You observe something that is strongly associated to something you have already experienced; not necessarily an identical situation but rather something identical in an otherwise different situation. Then your mind proceeds to make the assumption that what you currently see has occurred before, without you acknowledging it.

it's probably something of that kind. Your brain just playing tricks on you ;)

but ive had it occur to me for extended amounts of time. like sometimes even a whole minute straight of that feeling. like "omg deja vu" then shit keeps happening i.e. cat walks in "omg even more deja vu" then certain commercial comes on boom even more of the feeling. alot more than just the typical "woah deja vu" from walking by something familiar.

A computer simulation does not require consciousness or awareness of individuals even for "realism"

thats what i mean though. they could make you think you are more advanced then you are. what we think is real may not even be the case.

THE ONLY possibility is to live in one or else reality as we know it doesnt exist

so you imply it could be some kind of glitchy loop in what we perceive as reality? well, in theory it is plausible, but i'm not very keen on such ideas
