So is the equation in the OP the only decay Kaons can do? So I just have to memorize that equation? I don't really understand where the strange quark from the Kaon goes, is it transferred to energy?

strangeness is not conserved in weak interactions

the produced particles are leptons, and none of them has strangeness, so im saying weak interaction
