i had the same issue with a buddy of mine. not only was he dealing with PTSD/trauma, but he also had both of his parents die within a short period of time. The way it manifested itself was a lot of anger. He would get angry over the smallest things. I tolerated 90% of this by ignoring it and letting him calm down on his own. When he did calm down I told him this was an issue and he did recognize that his anger was an issue and he was trying to work on it.

I think the best thing you can do is tolerate it until it subsides. The way (I think) my friend got over it was by surfing a lot. At first he never wanted to get out, and finally I basically forced him to go for runs / surf on a daily basis.. after a month or so I noticed a huge difference. I'm sure everyone is different in what/how certain things help them. If your friend is going through some tough shit you should stick by and do whatever you can to help man.
If you give up on someone that's hurting like that and you're the only one they have.. it would be a bad time for them in a big way. If he's not having suicidal thoughts right now (which I'm sure he is) then he certainly will, and might even act on them. :/
It's complicated shit but if you're a good friend you stick through it.

tell him to start smoking weed.

all my friends that came back from Iraq or Afghanistan had nothing good to say about how fucked up the americans really are.

fucking making games and point systems out of shooting children or punching them.....

making the whole squad participate or else who fuckin knows what if they kill kids for fun.

anger issues are very common with ptsd from war.

he needs to be on either xanax(or another benzo) as needed not daily or start smoking weed.

seems to be the only thing that helps anyone i know

before anything starts, I honestly don't know what section to post this on. I just wanted to ask some questions. Is it nature thing since stats say that millions of people have this disorder? I really don't know. Anyways heres my question.

If a long time friend has PTSD, should you just deal with his unusual outrages, Or should you just tell him to get out of you're life forever? I don't know. I search online about PTSD and it just tells you to be sensitive and patient. I'm out of patients. He wants to beat my ass over the smallest things.

whats you're opinion? please tell me

I have PTSD, and he needs councilling.
