and no, doubt it will be sterile, some spores withstand temperatures up to 121 celsius

Once you see it at a rolling boil, it's sterilized.

However, it should be noted that the water may still be unfit to drink. Boiling does kill the bacteria and virus' that may be free living, but it does nothing to remove potentially devastating heavy particulate such as salt.

A still method is by far the ultimate survivor method of making water safe to drink.

ya a solar still is super easy to make if u have the right stuff to make it.

i have a pitcher in my fridge that i just pour water into the top compartment and it drips clean water into the bottom compartment. if thats something your looking for.
