Well, I did try, but you have to read all the book to start to understand.
It is not an easy way, but the purpose of the book is to help you get it.

omghacks endorsing this... individual... is proof enough that whatever that website says isn't worth the time it takes for the browser to load.

This has been the goal of religion since its inception. Provide easy answers so that people don't need to think. Who cares if what you believe is actually true, so long as you believe it?

I was not talking about religion, but Jesus actually said it himself : “You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

Jesus is saying that the truth will set you free from your own mind, your false self.

How the hell would your OWN MIND be your fake self...

You people make no sense.

Because it's educated in lie since our youth (parents, school etc).
Take the exemple of your parents : when you were young, they always told you that lie is a bad thing and you shouldn't do it. The problem is they lie to you all the time. If you don't trust me, check any parent with ~5-7 years old kids asking questions all the time... they just answer lies when they are tired (pretty fast because questions are still comming all the time^^). Kids are actually looking for truth (they can not lie before a certain age)... but parents are educating them in lie, so they just grow up in lie, and lie to their childrens when they have some...
I experienced this myself many time, I'm just more aware of it now thanks to The Present

Once you start understand the truth, your mind will start to open itselft and become your friend, the truth will make you free as Jesus said.
