It is but not entirely.

Weight gain/being fat, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FOOD QUANTITY.

It only has to do with METABOLISM
Isn't this contradictory? If your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is only equal to 1200 Calories a day you need to eat less to lose weight, more to gain, exact to stay the same.

So it does have quite a lot to do with food quantity, based off your Metabolic Rate.

edit: Didnt read the rest TBH

edit2: Read the shit about 'Peace of Mind' OH MY GOD THE BRO-SCIENCE

That's exactly right. That other guy is clueless. Weigh loss/gain is simple. Either consume more calories than you burn to gain weight, consume less calories than you burn to lose weight, eat the same amount that you burn to stay the same weight.

Having a fast/slow metabolism is really overrated too. It's like a big myth or something. http://www.weightwatchers.com/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=35501

Oh no, a reduced metabolism! It will be impossible to lose weight now

intake and outtake is a main source, but with variables where some things aren't labeled with calories.

It depends also what your body needs at a certain time with some of it being excess. Empty calories as well place into weight gain.

Focus on living an active life than on this kind of stuff. People who train still need calories when they sleep.

Heres what, you can drink ONLY WATER and not eat anything, and you still GETTING FAT.

So wheres your intake/outake philosoophy again? ..

Food quantity or exercise quantity are 1% of the equation bro if that.

100% wrong again. I know you're just a troll though.

It's impossible to gain weight/get fat while on a water fast.

What was the name of that fat guy who couldnt even walk and used to be transported on a truck to "have a walk" around the city?

I think he died already, Im not sure.. check his diet.

Like him theres MILLIONS of people around the world who have fat problems and they even stop eating or drinking at all, or like just veggies and soup and they STILL get fatter and fatter.

Food has a minimum impact on getting fat or not.

Eating sugar-free food before bed helps to have good dreams. :)

The biggest factor to loosing weight is your diet, hands down. I major in health education in college and hope to be a fitness trainer. Also, not everyone should use the same diet as your metabolism and other factors do play a part.

by not eating you're only hurting yourself and you will gain even more weight...it slows down your metabolism which is why most people should eat around 3-5 small meals a day

That is preposterous.

Absolutely false from top to bottom.
