idk if this is the right place to post this but if anyone have experience or is some sort of doctor i would greatly appreciate your insight on my problem

about 2 weeks ago i took a shower and got water in my right ear so i tried to use a q tip to soke up the water

i ended up lodging the water in my ear and could not hear overnight i got an earache it got swollen but it soon started to get back to normal

all was fine it was still hurting a little but all in all was fine then out of nowhere i start hearing ringing in the ear now i dont have an ear ack no more and 2 weeks layter the ringing is still doing it

one of the things im most scared of is having ear damage

will the ringing stop or should i go see a ear doctor
