Antibiotic resistance is not a 20th/21st century concept my brother.

Streptomyces species have been using antibiotic for a long time to kill bacteria - A long time. Some bacteria acquired some genes to express proteins that inactivate antibiotics. Then that's got transmitted over and over to other bacteria, but not all ofc.

Not sure what's got to be a hoax as you say.
