Where do you suggest this should have been posted?
General Chat? pfft. Please, i'm after a range of semi-educated responses here. Which i might add, have been what i have gotten here.

Thanks for all the input so far guys!

Yeah, I can't really think of a better place since we don't have a Philosophy forum (maybe one day).

I think if it as a hierarchy

Wisdom>Understanding>Knowledge>Information

I think the best way to define wisdom is "truth combined with moral perfection".

Wisdom is attained over time.

For example, Solomon could recieve one gift from God, and he chose wisdom, which was a good decision. He wrote "Proverbs" in the bible, and if you look at the proverbs, every one of them is filled with wisdom.

Quote
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

If he had chose wealth for example, I wouldn't be surprised if God didn't smite him down.

Intelligence is like knowing the books; memory, whereas wisdom is knowing something through inner intuition.

Ill just respond to this one.. What if you do the correct thing for you at the time, but then it's the worst decision of your life. Still a wise choice?

Never leave the now by dwelling on the past.

Just follow your gut and you will be in line with the nature of things.

Seeing how they are not how it ought to be.

Using this method will bring your awareness to its full use.

Making you able to "Be Here" for yourself and others.

Not off thinking about what was or is right and wrong.

Wisdom is perception, how you perceive something defines your wisdom.

But perception is also opinionated, based on society and culture, so it can't be defined completely.

The unbiased point of view is always the best point of view.

It kind of confuses me why you bring up verses of the Bible as if it was fact and actually happened.
Anyways, You said wisdom is attained over time? Yet God apparently gave Solomon wisdom as a gift..
Just seems a little contradicting.
I do personally agree with you on your definition of wisdom, 'knowing something through inner intuition'.

Good input
Can you go a little further in depth of the 'how you perceive something defines your wisdom'.
Since it is widely believed that wisdom is connecting to knowledge through experiences and doing the right thing in the big picture.
You followed up by talking about how perception is opinionated (which i also agree with) but never really finished off with an overall conclusion.

DND:

Quote
Wisdom (Wis)

Wisdom describes a character’s willpower, common sense, perception, and intuition. While Intelligence represents one’s ability to analyze information, Wisdom represents being in tune with and aware of one’s surroundings. Wisdom is the most important ability for clerics and druids, and it is also important for paladins and rangers. If you want your character to have acute senses, put a high score in Wisdom. Every creature has a Wisdom score.

Here's another that I just came up with:

"Intelligence is knowing how you can be killed. Wisdom is making sure you don't get killed."

Which is also why its wise to follow the LORD because he is your way off this planet at the coming doomsday. You're not going to be able to fake it, wrapped in sin. He'll simply say: "I don't want this one in here."
