Get a iPhone 4s and jailbreak it. No other phone even competes with it. If you get an android your phone will be out-of-date In a weeks time.

The iPhone4s was outdated b4 it even came out LOL

The Samsung Galaxy S2 was out like 6 or 7 months b4 it and it had better specs LOL...

You should look into the Droid Razr Maxx thats coming out next month... apparently it has a battery life of 2 days (Moderate use and 4g on).... thats fucking CRAZY

Galaxy Nexus is nice too... but I think the Galaxy S2 is >

Depends on what carrier your gonna be on...

Blackberry is no good unless ur a big buisness person.

silly non-apple-fanboy. don't you realize that non-apple phones don't count when you're talking about whether a phone is outdated?

Says no to an iphone, yet wants a rim piece of shit.

Seems legit.

Wish my tbolt could go 2 days with 4g on. I am underclocked (on smartass governor) and undervolted and if I leave 4g on constantly I only get about 8 hours

because, believe it or not, blackberries are still incredibly useful for business folks who rely a lot on email and on actually making phone calls, as well as on compatibility with traveling.

I've known 5 people with blackberrys, one of them being myself with a storm, exgf and 3 of her family members.

My storm was hands down the worst phone I have ever used, and my girls bricked 3 times.

I despise everything to do with them

aw cmon. its totally realistic to pay top dollar for a 2 inch screen phone with incredibly outdated software and hardware and hardly any developers care to make apps for.

i still dont get why people claim they are better for business people either.

when all you care about is writing emails and text messages quickly and efficiently, or when you need international access, "outdated software" and apps are irrelevant. not to mention that said "outdated software" still has better usability for power users than 99% of what's on the smartphone market.

i know plenty of folks who have switched from their blackberries to iphone/android, only to switch back to blackberries for work. some of them do keep the iphone/android around, but only for personal use.

what makes them better at emails?

you know why blackberries keep the "work phone" image? because they are usually company issued. not because of their ability but rather the ability for tech stupid people to use them.

a keyboard? durrrr? and that the RIM folks (as terrible of a fate as they've met) have been doing this for years, so they're still way ahead of apple/google when it comes to designing a mail client that's fast and easy to use. there are still so many things that the iphone/android, for all their glory, utterly fail at when it comes to basic *phone* functionality that the folks at RIM, Nokia, and Motorola have figured out a decade ago.

and no, the people I'm talking about aren't getting them as company issued.

oh this is great, considering the iphone is the epitomy of tech-stupid-people-friendliness.

(full disclosure: i use a galaxy nexus prime. it was free, and it fits my use case better than blackberries/iphones.)

I just got a Samsung Reality and have been playing around with it for a few days. It's not a smart phone, but it's a damn good dumb phone.
