yea, they also regulate the rate of gluconeogenesis but its just weird to me how theres 2 hormones that generally do the same thing lol

Gluconeogenesis is part of what results in higher blood glucose levels, which is why I didn't mention it specifically; both regulate gluconeogenesis but only one decreases protein synthesis (glucocorticoids).
