We can basically prove anything with the Internet. Of course, that's only if you believe sources like the ones you have provided, have account names like acid drop, AND TYPE IN CAPS.

You do realize that covering up an entire planet is kind of hard... Right? Now if it was a meteor the size of a base ball or something, I would consider. But this is a planet, which harbors aliens, and is going to be earths demise. Hm.

I don't think it was made as a hoax. I do think something is going to happen. Maybe not the end of the world. :P. maybe just a time of spiritual revival or something of that nature.
