blade probably just followed some grooves in plastic then. look at bottle and see if the area that did that looks weird.

bah this is just a macroscopic quantum-mechanical phenomenon, these occur every now and then

what you observe is the wave nature of matter, the scissors acted like a wave instead of a bunch of particles so you get that wavy pattern

i think it has more to do with the shape of the scissors and the impressionable nature of plastic

this is likely stick-slip phenomenon of the scissors interacting with the plastic's molecular grooves and orientation
