Anoles are commonly sold at pet stores. Maybe someone had one and lost or released it. idk

I love those little buggers. Last time I was in Port Aransas there were oodles of them. I spent many a gay and merry day catching them for no particular reason at all. They were all released unharmed of course... Bar the psychological damage they may have suffered from a mildly drunk tourist picking them up
