Nice guide I always find myself lucid dreaming when an outside interference happens such as the noise from a television or something going to try some of this later :)

Hahah yea! Alot of times external sources like sounds, smells and feelings help your brain "render" the new images and objects which you will use to "slip" into the dream as i described in the WILD method!

I also have achieved lucid dreaming sort of through meditation. I could tell I was fully aware of my surroundings but was unable to move. The paralysis effect you explained it was neat I try to do it every now and again. But you can definitely notice the instant you start to dream being aware a somewhat curious feeling startled me the first few times I find it easy to do this if you just clear your mind of thought trying to let it wander so to speak until you notice nothing. Then focus on something like your breathing.

Is this similar to out of body experiences?
My older brother told me of a time where he could actually see himself laying in bed, asleep.

Well the reason its sometimes good to do on purpose is because lets say for example you wanna test something out. It give you a chance to do it before "actually doing" it.

Could see the reasoning behind this but what's to say it will play out the same in the real world as in the dream?
