It's possible.....definitely not a "christian" god however.

He's the only one.

He is unique above all...

Where all the religions say: "You can earn your way into heaven." (Which is impossible.)

Jesus says: "I did it for you."

Why do we have to tell you when there is the bible?

If you take the Bible as evidence that Christianity is correct, then you have to take the Qur'an as evidence that Islam is correct, and you have to take the Vedas as evidence that Hinduism is correct, and you have to take the Satanic Bible as evidence that Satanism is correct, and you have to take the writings of Confucius as evidence that Confucianism is correct, and you have to take the vinayas and the sutras as evidence that Buddhism is correct.

You assert that earning your way to heaven is impossible but you have no reason to believe that that is true except that the Bible tells you that. None whatsoever. In fact, if there is a Heaven and the vast majority of religions tell you that you can earn your way into heaven, then just playing the odds means it's more likely that you can earn your way into heaven than that you cannot.

There will never be proof of the Christian God. No matter what people say about this and that is proof of God, none of it is. Christianity is based around Faith. If god would have wanted us to know He was there He would have shown himself to every individual. So, looking for proof before you believe in God is like looking for a picture that a man 29,000 years ago took with a digital camera.

And is faith really that hard to accept? Everyone relies on "faith" everyday. When you get out of bed, you expect that your floor is beneath your feet when standing up. You have faith that your next breath will be there. You have faith that you are still sane. ( you get the picture ;) )

Try reading the Bible as a book. Nothing more, just a plain ole book. If you feel it truly is Devine then go with it. If not, set it down and continue on with your life.

No, but if you provide a good reason or some actual evidence to believe in any one specific god I'll change my answer.

You've never read the bible have you? This is based all on Faith which means believing without seeing it. Now I can logically see how everybody is very sinful and how angry that we would all make a perfect God be.
I can see how not a single person in this world that has ever lived deserves anything other than death. I can see how we can't meet up to the standards of this God and that we need somebody to do it all for us.

I can also see how this life is essentially worthless as everything is basically man made which does not bring about true satisfaction for all time. Only a God could do that. Besides this life is only temporary and the entire Universe is thought to be about 13 billion years old. We only live to about 80 or so years now.

Everything makes perfect sense and based on that and through some personal experiences that I have had which has changed ME but will not change YOU I believe. I BELIEVE!

A creator, maybe. But definitely not the ones described in the various "holy" books.

Have you ever actually read any of my posts before? If you had, you'd know just how familiar with the Bible I am. The problem with believing in the Bible on faith alone is that the other guy takes his different religious text as the unquestionable word of their god/gods too, and there's simply no good reason whatsoever to assign greater likelihood to one unprovable deity over another.

The fact that we're alive for a mere blink of an eye in comparison to the age of the universe (~13.73 billion years) is what gives our lives almost infinite value. As far as we know, our planet is unique in the universe in that it contains life. At the very least, we haven't found evidence of life anywhere else. Maybe you find no meaning or "true satisfaction" in life without a god to fill a hole in your life, but that simply doesn't hold true for everyone. What you might call "true satisfaction" is boring as hell to someone else.

So the fact that your god gives you personal experiences so that you can believe means he loves you. Meanwhile, the fact that your god has not given me any personal experiences so that I can believe, and has not bestowed upon me any amount of faith with which to believe (Ephesians 2:8) even though I sincerely asked in prayer (Matthew 7:7) for two years during my transition from Christianity to atheism means that your god must not love me.

All-loving God? Disproved. But hey, you're free to believe and waste your short and infinitely precious 80 years of life worshiping a deity that's in all likelihood not even there. Good luck with that.
