 it's a very real possibility that the sun could produce a solar flare strong enough to wipe out satellites and if the sun does produce a large enough (CME) Coronal mass ejection, could wipe out all electronics here on earth just saying.

and whats the chance of that happening in our life-time?

chances are actually pretty good for a solar event at least knocking out our satellites in our lifetime.

chances that it would be armageddon... not very likely unless people simply cant live without satellites in the sky

Explosions on the Sun could reach the earth..?
No thanks.

And you're basing that on your gut feeling, right? Source it or don't bother bringing trash into this forum.

Same to you. Do you have any reason to believe what you just typed, or do you simply think it's a possibility, so that means the odds are good? Remember, we got hit by a fairly massive CME not too long ago. I think it was January or March? And there was so little permanent damage (if any) that it wasn't even news-worthy.

That doesn't say anything about "wiping out" all electronics on Earth. There's a huge difference between what you're describing and a temporary disabling of our ability to communicate in specific parts of the EM spectrum. So like I said, get your trash out of here.
