No matter how much scientists discover new theories and new ideas, we will always be discovering.
Emphasis on the progressive tense.

I doubt that science can really find THE ANSWER.

Religion (in my opinion) states THE ANSWER in the form of a higher being that we will never comprehend, thus ending
further questions, and thus provides us with a sense of security.

Religion just helps you fill in the gaps while science looks for the answer. Waste of time - Religion. Valuable use of time - Science. For you to just assume everything we need to know about existence is written in your book, is ignorant.

1: I did not narrow my focus to "existence"
2: I never assumed I KNOW, I say "I doubt" and I say "in my opinion" (I did not make definitive statements)
