im more in the middle of both theories. While we should avoid serious pathogens, we should also have immune systems that twart less serious problems. Obviously sanatation is important and helps prevent disease, but flu vaccines dont rly prevent flu. Strong immune systems, or i should say, proper immune systems, prevent the flu. Most people dont have strong and or proper immune systems.

So we're allowed to make random statements with no factual basis now? You still have yet to refute the original issue here, why bite off more than you can chew?

i havent been sick since i changed to a health rich diet. thats been almost 3 years.
if its any anecdotal evidence; my room mate in the dorms last year had the flu 4 times, and he had 2 staff infections. I didnt get any of them at all and i lived with the guy in close quarters. Why? Cuz i have an immune system that works like it should

Thanks for sharing Toothfairy! I'm currently trying to get some family members to switch to a better diet. Unfortunately it would appear that modern foods are quite addicting and my family is unwilling to give up processed foods and cut back on the meat intake.

The way i see it, you just have to give up the that idea really. I've tried getting other people to do it too, but everyone is so damn defensive about their food. Its crazy. So i just eat what i wanna eat which is usually pretty good, and they can eat w.e. Idc it doesnt bother me cuz bottom line is, im takin care of myself and i dont rly care bout them. Lol

One of my favorite quotes is from my nutrition mentor and he says "enjoy your food and let others eat in peace" Which is a great bit of advice.

Now there are some people who are threatened by me choosing healthier foods, even when i dont say ne thing or do ne thing to them. Just the very pressence makes them very hostile.

The thing for me was that i was eatting foods that made me feel worse after i ate them. So my first step was hey, let me only eat things that make me feel better afterward. That evolved into now im actually studying nutrition as i would like to be a nutritionist. I love it, its great

It's true, people are ultimately unwilling to change even when it offers positive results. That was one of the things that got me started on this path, foods that made me feel worse that is. That and a documentary I watched where Woody Harrelson was explaining raw food diets and the benefits of them.

Oh dear.

Cutting back on processed foods is excellent, and I firmly stand by Jack Lelane's philosophy of eating food in its most natural form. However, eating this way will not prevent you from contracting disease not linked with affluence (i.e. you can prevent Type 2 Diabetes with this diet, but not Polio). Life expectancy has increased since the industrial revolution, almost in lockstep with the revolution in medicine, specifically preventative healthcare. Peoples in former generations, throughout history, eating diets in their natural form did not live longer than we did, were not healthier, and in fact were overcome by many diseases due to malnutrition, e.g. beriberi and rickets. I appreciate Toothfairy's anecdotal evidence; however anecdotal evidence is strictly that: anecdote. Proof through proof is the standard and accepted manner of answering scientific questions, not sitting around drawing your own conclusions. However accurate your isolated observations may be, it is still isolated and still just an observation.

As for the OP, I refuted the original issue many times, as have Nobel laureates and academics alike. You can directly observe asexual reproduction in bacteria under a microscope. Even Bechamp admitted he was wrong later in life. Sorry, you're fighting a losing battle here champ. I suggest a little more study time for self-enrichment, and try laying off the conspiracy theories, especially if they're glaringly false.
