Explain?

i think he's alluding to a ridiculous proposition that briefly had "merit" if you can call it that, when physicists first discovered the wave collapse phenomenon

Exactly. It's well-understood now that conscious thought (e.g. a human viewing something) is not required for a quantum mechanical "observation" to occur, and a quantum mechanical observation is what collapses a wave function. Whenever a quantum particle interacts with another quantum particle, that is enough to cause the wave function to collapse and force a particle to take a specific position (or whatever property is interacting/being measured).

And that's what we call a destructive point of view. Why are people so concerned with deconstruction? Fear?

Ok, lets figure out Dark Matter.  This thread is designed to be sort of like a brain storming session.  Everyone who is interested post your opinions, knowledge and thoughts regarding dark matter and lets figure this shit out.

how bout it doesnt exist?

deconstruction? deconstructing natural phenomenon to explain reality is pretty much the definition of science...fear? has nothing to do with it. the search for truth transcends emotions.

if you think you have the answer to everything you don't need to post here at all do you?

I just like putting the idea into peoples' heads, even if they don't care about it, it still goes in.

You're reality, however mundane or brilliant it may be, is just as valid as mine. I am not attacking your opinions you are attacking mine.

Could have sworn that they threw out the idea of dark matter and altered the gravitational theory to make up for it.

Right on, im not a physicist or anything but also the fact that matter changes when we try to observe or measure it like its conscientiously aware were watching is mind boggling i just cant wrap my head around it weird.
