IMO reason why the dont legalize it is because they cant get a tax on it. If its legal people are still going to use dealers to try and get a specific strain they prefer.
So if the government cant make money on it whats the point of legalizing it in their eyes.

something tells me that the government has the ability to get together slightly more intelligent plant breeders and more knowledgeable marketers then your average drug dealer.

what the hell are you smoking... it must be good. why wouldn't the government tax it if it was legal. This is totally within their power and if pot was legalized it would indeed be taxed, and heavily. Tobacco and Liquor are taxed out the ass why wouldn't pot?

If you had ever heard of dispensaries you'd know that hardly anyone is going to use "dealers" if/when pot is legalized. Dispensaries already carry dozens and dozens of different strains, kids running around with some bud in their backpack can't compete with that kind of selection.

marijuana should be legal, but i think it would have a lot of negative consequences. when i traveled in netherlands, the place was just weird, pretty obvious why

as for the strains, if it was legalized, companies could only breed those of specific strains. i suggest you take a look at current dispensaries. from what ive heard, they generally label the strain and also mark the thc content.

the strain thing is kinda BS. its almost impossible to get the real deal strains. and a very small percentage of people who talk about strains, arent making stuff up or arent basing their opinions off of complete fabrications.

if u can decifer kush, indica and sativa buds then u are doing very well as a marijuana connisuer. cant spell that word

Kush is not classification of marijuana like indica and sativa are. It's easy as hell to tell the difference between indica and sativa, although most strains are a mixture of the two but you can almost always tell which one is dominant.
