Yeah the one in the first picture hasn't any problems. It's just smaller. No dead pixels, etc. and I've had it for 4 years now. It was about $500 when I first got it. Just goes to show how fast technology is advancing.
i didn't have any issues with my first lcd until my dog put a big pressure mark on it chasing my screensaver lol.
