How are you defining an observation? Quantum mechanics doesn't require human intervention for an observation to be made on the quantum scale, so it certainly wouldn't require human intervention on the macro scale. If you're saying things don't happen without a person being present, then you must think more than 99.96% of the universe's history didn't happen.
As far as I’m aware of it didn’t... It’s like being a judge out a court case you only hear 2 pieces of information you were not actually at the crime scene. Until you are at the crime scene or discover it by someone who you trust tells you, it really hasn’t taken place in your universe yet. The more we discover the more we create. I do believe in essence we are all one. So this means if you see it, you created for all.
