Have you tried using ear plugs? That might be a better solution if its the noise keeping you awake. You could try working out in the afternoon/early evening too. Might be easier to fall asleep if your body is worn out.

I'd suggest going to see the doctor in any case. Sleeping pills might help for a bit but it's not really a good long term solution.

'brands' of melatonin dont matter dude. if you cant fall asleep from melatonin or advil pm its time to go to the doctor and get a prescription

Sprout some almonds and eat them at night. Also, if you can afford it, get a few Shirodhara treatments at an ayurvedic clinic. There isn't a person on earth that shirodhara does not lull to sleep :)

Excersise in the morning.
Get lots of sunlight. Light in the office is pathetically weak
just get asmuch sunlight as you can.
As soon as darkness enters your eyes your body produces
a hormone called melatonin

This makes you sleepy.
So make sure you get asmuch darkness during the night
Drink water before you go to sleep (stay away from coffee, alkohol)
Eliminate any noise or disturbance

If you had a full day with lots of things then it would become easy to go to sleep
Get into that cycle and before you know it you will sleep like a baby.

Pills are only a short term solution with bad side effects
you want to fix the source and do it naturally. (never mix these with alkohol)
