We are not at a point yet to be of any interest to an Extraterrestrial Civilization, For them to be able to reach us in a single life span be it 80 years or 500 years, show they are thousands if not millions of years more advanced then us. They would be un interested in coming here and abducting us they wouldn't need to they would have so far advanced computers they could do scans of us from a distance and learn everything they needed to learn, Were not at a point where they could teach us any thing were too stupid there is no point for contact, in the most likely scenario they have a robot or drone sitting on the dark side of the moon montering us waiting for us to reach a lvl that they could communicate in. At the moment we would be an ant and they a human, Do we try and teach a ant how a cell phone works? do we try to talk to a ant and get and intelligent response? no we just study them if we are of any interest to a alien they will wait until were comparable to a dog to a human something they can talk to and get a reaction from,

i 100% believe in the existence of intelligent life out side of our own but i do not think we have been visited by aliens at this moment, they might of sent a probe or something to scan out planet and such like we send out to mars but nothing more

So many retards. If There is one other form of intelegent life than there are probably 100s. If they have technology to get here than they probably have technology to hide themselvs. I think people are to scared to admit were not alone. Why would they spend an hour over the Japanese airport? i dont think weve been around long enough for them to know we are here. if the only way they would only know we exist was by recieving our radio broadcasts as they travel through space, they most likely wouldnt have recieved our first broadcasts yet. even after they recieve them they have to travel to us, which takes a long time even at the speed of light, assuming that is even possible. i have a neat diagram at home of which stars have recieved our radio broadcasts. our first radio broadcasts (assuming they are strong enough to reach these stars) have travelled over 50 light years. then it takes as long to send a probe/craft back to earth, assuming speed of light is possible.

if we use drake's equation, the likelihood of intelligent life that close to earth is extremely unlikely.
