Quote (Gurby @ Aug 22 2010 06:45pm)
what you feel is not heat but photoreceptors overloading. you can argue whacko physics all you want but please stay away from biology.

also, how is this what you describe as light not what most people call energy (that is, something which has the capacity to generate work, I quote 'make the molecules in the air more energetic')? you're using definitions that are faulty by your own standard!

e: typo, it's late :(

i was using the word energetic correctly though, aka excited, im not saying energy is an entity in its self, like some theories where they say in the begining there was only energy in chaos bs blah blah blah, energy describes why something has motion, even though its a short cut becuase it doesnt explain why when you really think about it, it doesn't mean that it exists is what im sayin (existance= object+location)

so what you are saying is that when you use the word energy it's correct and that when someone else does it's not? the energy of an object is also defined by the object itself so that gives it a physical shell. but then again this whole 'I can't see it so it can't exist' is retarded.

The larger the mass, the larger the sonic boom. Force of sonic boom = Mass x Speed of sound. A photons mass = 0 and so 0 x speed of sound = 0 Hope this helps :D
