Like it or hate it, the big bang theory is very successful theory that has made lots of startling predictions (that have been verified). Going to be hard to throw that theory out.

the big band created time and space. so there was no "before" the big bang.

This fellow's the most right so far. This video should help elaborate a lot

You can stop watching after 2:30. It strays off this topic beyond that.

If I understand correctly, or even partially correctly, energy can create matter, and that's essentially what happened.

I don't know if this theory helps with the what was before our universe question. How was that universe that created ours created? An infnite unending chain of universes? My answer sounds  a lot like Richards dawkins answer to what created "god"? A more powerful god? Then what created that one? Etc. Etc.

Anyways I don't think we will ever know what happened before the big bang, because there was not a before the big bang

One of the philosophical definitions of God, is that he breaks the principle of causality. He is his own cause.

So wait, lemme get this right, if we could somehow, recreate the events of the big bang on a much much lower scale, (theoretically, assuming it is physically possible) could that result in the creation of another universe inside ours?
Isn't that wat they were trying to do with that particle collider?

Not really. One of the primary goals of the LHC is to produce a higgs boson. It is a really massive theoretical particle that has never been detected, but is predicted to exist by the standard model. The LHC should be powerful enough to produce one, so it should be a pretty good test of the standard model. So if it fails to produce one it means something is very wrong with the standard model, and if it succeeds it should leads to many more discoveries. Either results should be interesting.

what was BEFORE the big bang?

i know the big bang is only a theory, but lets say it actaully happened, what does the theory state what was before the big bang, like if the universe existed etc

if you want to go with this theory.
the big bang did not create matter.
It was a result of gasses and blah blah compounding into too little space that had to be expelled which created chunks of dirt and stuff(being planets) and other gasses set a blaze(stars)
although I don't know how a big bang can happen and yet we have a planet of gasses that is not burning.
also, this theory relates that the universe is forever expanding(or at least until it succumbs to it's own gravity and pulls everything back together again)
if it is always expanding tho, i would like proof that there is some force pushing other galaxies at an alarming rate away from ours.(cause it would just start coming back due to gravity in some theory if it is not.

So wrong I don't even know what to say...

our universe is one of many, it is a bubble on a giant membrane and every so often a piece buds off to create a new bubble " big bang"

string theory ftw
