One thing, the Physics we know, and learn about in school, etc, is ONLY applicable to Earth, and not to the Universe as a whole. Who knows what laws govern the other planets and galaxies out there.
Probably the same rules when it comes to physics...
But M-Theory brought the idea of a 4th level parallel univers. It's suggested that in this univers the laws of physics doesn't apply.. Therefore there are no galaxies, no stars, no solarsystem and no planets. Nothing but the dust and particles created by the big bang.
