I'd do this in a chronological order of its history, you can branch out on alot of the history

cant remember where and when it was first recorded to be used
etc
etc
example early 1900's proganda to get this illegal, and by who
etc
etc
1960's hippies, war
etc
1990's medical uses for glocoma many others in this time frame, also hemp shit too like mercedes using it in dash boards
2000's medical use for a million things now

this can be way more complex with many more sub cateogories this is just a suggestion on the route you can take, you can also show graphs on how much more paper can be supplied by an acre of hemp over wood cotton for clothing theres way too much but i'm just throwing ideas your way

specific is better. if you're doing this as an informative presentation, you can easily spend an hour talking about 3 main points.

look something like this:

-intro
-background info, pretty much whatever
-legal, positives and negatives.
-illegal, positives and negatives.
-conclusion.

Natural animals (such as deer) that would eat it, which could lead to a discussion about why/how the plant evolved its psychological effects
practical use, such as hemp
the types of it and how each is used

you have a lot to talk about it seems

I feel sorry for teachers today, having to deal with this shit. I'm sure they're just thrilled to go in to class and hear all of their students talk about why they should be allowed to waste their lives on mind-crippling drugs.
