we are classified as the homosapien species and are scientifically animals. to say we are no different than animals is fucking stupid however. though our social habits, technologies, congregational skills, and violence can be considered similar to other animals, it is not by ANY means identical. we are drastically different and though the core of our habits may be reflected in other species, they have very large differences and are quite unique

We are no different, can you understand the social habits of someone from a different culture? usually not so you cant pretend you understand much about animals either. We believe we are better then opther animals because we do not understand them at all, its almost as bad as saying there are 14 dimensions to make your equations work. As for technologies we are just more advanced, we started out using sticks and stones too ya know, and i never said we are identical to any other animal, HOWEVER most people would agree that cats and dogs are Both animals, just like im saying dogs and humans are both animals, the point im making is that humans themselves think they are special when they are not. I am also trying to get some more posts so a bunch of bananas can dance in my signature!

apes didnt evolve into us

This is so very true... apes might have evolved from the same species as us, and yes its a might just like everything else in science.

I think he meant "Apes just happened to evolve into intelligent life before squid did."

I'm pretty sure ants were about to evolve to an all powerful species, but we took their spot in line.

Give them thousands of years uninterrupted by us and you might be surprised

You see not being different when frazed the way i said it means that 'we are nothing special'

no two different species of animals are 'identical' to each other

And just how did we develop in nature? Oh idk a few thousand uninterrupted years, my friend it IS how nature works

the fact is we are special, in that we are unique. the development of our brain is unprecedented. if you deny that, then you obviously have NO idea what youre talking about. that alone monumentally seperates us from any animal that has ever lived before us. yes a lemon and an pineapple are both fruits. they have MINIMAL similarities like a yellow color, and citrus taste, but thats where the similarities end. they are both citrus yellow fruits but are very different and unique from each other. likewise humans, though animals that reflect behaviors of other animals, are greatly unique when you intrinsically compare us to another, and not vaguely state and grossly over simplify comparisons by saying "OH LOOK DUDE APES USE LIL STICKS WE DID THAT ONCE, WERE EXACTLY THE SAME"

darwin would disagree

If you didnt speak English then Einstein would seem awful dumb to you in a one on one conversation. Can you speak the language of other animals? No (thought so), So HOW can you say how smart they are, if if you deny that, then you obviously have NO idea what youre talking about. The thing about this topic is that humans want to think they are better then anything else on this planet so they believe it naturally. About our almighty brain, chimpanzees actually have better short term AND long term memory then us, Gorillas can learn sign language, bees talk through dance, ants talk with there mandibles, these things are more similar to us then "OH LOOK DUDE APES USE LIL STICKS WE DID THAT ONCE, WERE EXACTLY THE SAME", especially sense the biggest commonly thought difference between humans and animals is language. Now "OH LOOK DUDE APES USE LIL STICKS WE DID THAT ONCE, WERE EXACTLY THE SAME" does take up the other major difference, technology, and once again if given an enormous amount of time to develop using lil sticks turns into using light bulbs and cars, how can i say this... well because that is exactly what happened to humans.

You're typing an awful lot in response to someone that has no idea what they're talking about. ^_^
